I’ve been spending a lot more time in the crafty corner of our office. We don’t have a TV in there, and so my constant crafty companion has been this:
My super awesome iPod Touch.
However, I haven’t bought any music for awhile, and my rotation of crafty music is getting a little stale. We’ve been on a budget so tight it squeaks lately, but I’m determined to add a few songs to the playlist via iTunes.
So I’m asking you, dear readers, for suggestions. Help me find some crafty music. My current list is extremely varied, from Lady Gaga to theGlee kids to Lily Allen to The Shins. I’m willing to try just about anything, but I have no idea what to listen to next.

As you may recall, I decided to enter a couple of items in this year’s Kentucky State Fair. One of the items was a pair of socks. When I filled out the paperwork at the end of June, the second sock looked like this:
Today, almost four weeks since I decided to enter these socks, and less than three weeks away from the due date for entries (August 14th), the second sock looks like this:

Here are a few things I’m loving lately:
1. Dark navy nail polish on my toes (as influenced by shutterboo)
2. Bright nail polish on my fingers. Today’s shade: Marine Scene
3. Plain (not vanilla) yogurt with fresh blueberries and low fat granola for breakfast
4. That second cup of coffee (OK, maybe less “love” than “need”)
5. Working with select Glee songs playing on my iPod – especially the songs from the Regionals
6. The color orange, which I never used to like, but can’t seem to get enough of lately

7. The new Futurama episodes
8. My to do list. It’s saving my sanity this week.
