Between waiting for my Noro yarn to arrive, to prepping for my weekend crafting experiment, to getting completely enraptured by the live puppy-cam, I don’t have much current craftiness to write about today.
More tomorrow!

More tomorrow!
This is about as crafty as I can get today, with the nail-biting anticipation this election is offering:
Our local polling location was not giving out “I Voted” stickers, so i decided to make one of my own. I think it gets the point across.
More craftiness tomorrow. Today - it’s all nail-biting, all the time, which makes crafting a little difficult.
NOTE: I’ve signed up for National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) which means I’ll be posting each day in the month of November. Stay tuned for more attempts at craftiness of all varieties this month while I try to find blog fodder expand my crafty horizons.
First and foremost, I want to apologize for the long hiatus since my last post! Things have been a bit crazy around here. The big news is that my sweetie, Mr. Martini, and I got married! We had a small, private wedding at the Louisville Hall of Justice on the 17th. We’d been planning all year to tie the knot, but a long series of twists and turns (layoffs, job-hunting, moving out of state, etc. etc.) kept us from being able to make any definite plans for anything larger than a courthourse elopement. We’re both very lucky to have such understanding families! But the event was low-key and sweet and simple and just perfect for us.
Other than that, though, things have been busy but good. I can’t believe it’s November already! In fact, this year I’ve decided to participate in National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) which means that I’ve made a commitment to post here, to this site, everyday for the month of November. I know. I must be crazy.
In anticipation of this massive undertaking, I’m going to have to branch out of my comfort zone, and try some new crafts besides knitting. What could these be? I have a few ideas that I’ll try to parse out over the next few weeks. This could get interesting. Or be a disaster, who knows. But I’m excited to see what happens!
