So. Much. Yarn.

While I haven’t been buying a lot of yarn lately, the yarn I’ve bought in the last year or so hasn’t received the photoshoot it deserved. Mostly because our old apartment didn’t really have a good spot to take a really good yarn shot. (Yes, there is such thing as a good yarn shot).

Now that I have a lightbox, and a sunroom, I have everything I need to give my yarn some attention and photographs. Yesterday, we had a photoshoot, and here is the result.

I know it seems silly to photograph a yarn stash. But since these photos are uploaded to Flickr and linked to Ravelry, this is how I browse through my stash when I’m away from home. This is how I get my best ideas for patterns. Good yarn pictures are important for future crafty projects.

So. Much. Yarn

I mean, come on, aren’t they pretty? Now I totally want to start a new project. The trouble is, I want to start about a dozen new projects. The next tricky part is narrowing it down!

Oh my, what a lovely stash. I have Rowan Felted Tweed and used it for the Tangled Yoke Cardigan. It’s been a slow knit but I enjoy the yarn so much I don’t want to be done!
