My NaBloPoMo Theme – Experiment!
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I’m doing it again. NaBloPoMo, or National Blog Posting Month. Basically, I’ve committed myself to write a blog post each and every day in the month of November. Good times!
This is the second year I’ve done this at Almost Crafty, and last year was a bit of a bust, with a couple of unexpected trips out of town messing up my blogging plans. But this year, I’m determined to succeed!
But coming up with enough blog material to write something every day is tougher than you might think. That’s why I’m giving myself a theme this year. A very loose, large theme that can incorporate a lot of variations. This month’s theme is:
EXPERIMENT
(Oh, wait, that’s what I titled the post. This wasn’t quite the reveal I thought it would be. Moving on.)
Yes, this month I’m going to do my best to experiment more. Experiment with different types of crafts, experiment with boundaries on crafts I already know, experiment with my camera more, and maybe even branch out and do other creative things that I wouldn’t normally try. I have a whole list of ideas written down in a notebook, and I’d like to get through them all, but it may take more than a month!
Plus, I may not have the opportunity to try a grand experiment every single day, so expect some “off-theme” days along the way.
I’m super excited to get started! Now that the move is over (expect for the unpacking -0y) I’ll definitely have time to dig through my craft boxes and see what’s inside. This should be fun!
And yes, I know I teased you all yesterday with the mention of my new craft corner. More on that later – it deserves a post all it’s own. Instead, I’ll post this picture of the new apartment, the move to which has taken up all of my energy for the past few weeks. Mr. Martini got the dining room situated yesterday, and I think it looks pretty good.
Isn’t that chandelier a trip?
