Deja Vu

For the third Monday in a row, I present a finished sock.

Another Monkey

After a few false starts last week which I don’t have the energy to discuss (oh, the knitting!  Oh, the soon to be frogging!) I started on this sock Friday afternoon and finished it Sunday evening.

It’s Socks that Rock in the Carbon Dating colorway (this is a horrible picture of the colors – they are much more vivid and pretty).  This is the old version of STR, back when they only had one weight and smaller skeins.  It’s another Monkey sock, but this time with a garter stitch short row heel.  Since it’s a smaller skein, I did only 5 repeats down the leg instead of 6.  I think I’ll have plenty of yarn left for another sock.

Since I’ve been bitten by the sock bug again, I did a little stash enhancement last week.  Hopefully it will arrive soon, as I’m loving knitting with the Socks that Rock.  I’m also going to try a few other yarn (brands?  companies?  types?) new to me, so that should be exciting.

However, now that I now I have all of this sock yarn on the way, I’m getting the itch to knit a sweater.  Figures, huh?
