Ribbed Hats

Hats: Based on man’s hat pattern from Stitch ‘n Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook by Debbie Stoller. I used Brown Sheep Company’s Lamb’s Pride Bulky (Wool/Mohair) in Tiger Lily/Orchid Thistle (top) and Deep Charcoal (bottom) on #10.5 straight needles.

Completed: Early September 2005

I’m still embarassed by the wonky seaming on these, but I think they’re wearable. I need a new winter coat this year, so hopefully I’ll find one neutral enough that my wide range of multi-hued knitting projects can be worn and not clash exessively.

The grey hat would go with almost everything. Figures I gave it to Mr. Martini.
